ИТОГИ МУНИЦИПАЛЬНОЙ НАУЧНОЙ КОНФЕРЕНЦИИ "ИНИЦИАТИВА МОЛОДЫХ"

4 декабря 2014 г. учащиеся нашей школы Исмаилова Эльяна и Аюпова Алия представили свои научно-исследовательские работы по темам "Живу и помню", "Интернет: за и против".
 Исмаилова Эльяна заняла 1 место, Аюпова Алия - 2 место.

ИТОГИ МУНИЦИПАЛЬНОЙ ОЛИМПИАДЫ ПО АНГЛИЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ

Завершилась муниципальная олимпиада по английскому языку.
Испытания проходили  в два этапа: 1 день - письменная часть, второй день - устная часть.

Учащиеся нашей школы Хван Николай и Яхина Неля стали призёрами олимпиады.

The Hare, the Polar Bear, and the Leopard 

have been chosen as the new official mascots of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

      The decision was made by the Russian public following a live television show “Talismaniya Sochi 2014 – The Final”.  A Ray of Light and a Snowflake were selected by a jury of Paralympians to be the mascots of the Paralympic Games.

The 2014 Olympic Winter Games will be the first time that the Russian Federation will have hosted the Winter Games; the Soviet Union hosted the 1980 Summer Games in Moscow. The host city Sochi has a population of 400,000 people and is situated in Krasnodar, which is the third largest region in Russia.

The Games will be organised in two clusters: a coastal cluster for ice events in Sochi, and a mountain cluster located in the Krasnaya Polyana Mountains. This will make it one of the most compact Games ever, with around 30 minutes travel time from the coastal to mountain cluster.

The Sochi Olympic Park is built along the Black Sea coast in the Imeretinskaya Valley, where all the ice venues such as the Bolshoi Ice Palace, the Maly Ice Palace, the Olympic Oval, the Sochi Olympic Skating Centre, the Olympic Curling Centre, the Central Stadium, the Main Olympic Village and the International Broadcast Centre and Main Press Centre, are built anew for the 2014 Games. 

The mountain cluster in Krasnaya Polyana is the home to all the skiing and sliding sports. The mountain concept is again a very compact one with only an average distance of 4km between the mountain sub-village and the venues. There will also be a sub-media centre in the mountain cluster.

Приближается католическое Рождество

Это один из самых любимых праздников детей и взрослых. 26 декабря 2012 г. на сайте нашей школы будет проведена дистанционная викторина по английскому языку об этом празднике. Надеюсь, учащиеся 8а,б, 9а,б 11а,б классов примут в ней активное участие.

The tradition of using a fir tree for winter celebrations is very old. We know that there were  trees decorated with toys in Roman times. Later it became part of the celebration of the Christian Christmas. The German Prince Albert, Queen Victoria’s husband, brought this tradition to England. He and the Queen had a Cristmass tree at Windsor Castle in 1841. A few years after nearly every house in the country had a Christmas tree.

At Christmas a giant fir-tree stands in Trafalgar Square in front of the National Gallery. It is a present from the people of Norway. Every winter they cut down a tree and sent it to London. Whole families come to look at it. Here is a Christmas tree bigger than any they have ever seen in their lives.

Traditionally, people decorate their trees on Christmas Eve – that is December 24^th. They hang lights and coloured balls on the branches and put a star at the top. They lay presents under the Christmas tree. Young children are told that Santa Claus will bring them presents if they are good. Children hang a Christmas stocking at the foot of their beds or near the fireplace. They often borrow one of the father’s gold socks because they are the biggest. Santa Claus is supposed to come in the night from Lapland. He climbs down the chimney and fills the stockings with presents.
